Masaya Volcano, Masaya Nicaragua

Active volcano. Also includes its sibling which is inactive, and overgrown with trees.  I'm told it becomes a lake sometimes in the rainy season. I was accompanied by my friend Dr Tatiana Teran Caldera, MD from Managua.
