The Motels of Latin America

These motels are not shy about what market they're targeting. Most hotels are laid out so their rooms are behind walled gates for privacy, and some even have garages for each room so no one can observe your car parked there. I have seen them from Mexico to Colombia, and to some extent Ecuador, but they're less gaudy there. None observed in Peru so far.

One sign boasts of "Espejo Aereo", which means "mirror on the ceiling".
