Everyone has told me that Salvadorans are super nice and I’m finding that the case. “They” also said to hire a “tramador” (basically a paperwork consultant) to help navigate the border crossing process. But the info provided by the nice woman in the photo copy kiosk was all I needed. Two hours and $20 US to the nice woman.
